This abstract acrylic fluid art painting was an experiment, it actually started out much different. It wasn't supposed to be abstract at all but when I saw that it wasn't working I had to change my thought process.
Welcome to my gallery! Allow me to introduce myself.... my name is Sue, I'm an artist living in the United States, based in Maryland. I started drawing people from comic books at the age of five. When I was about nine my mother encouraged me to take some oil painting classes at the local gallery where I grew up, near the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. I also took a drawing class in college at The University of Maryland where I learned how to draw nudes using charcoal. From 2017 through 2022 I focused primarily on fluid acrylic art. It gave me so much freedom to explore my creativity as an artist....a side of me that had been missing. However, I missed not doing any drawing so starting in 2023 I decided to go back to my original love...
